Dear [Title] [Last Name],
My name is [Your Name], and I am a [age/grade, ex: 16-year-old student in 11th grade] from [City, Country]. I am also part of a student-led initiative called Next Era Advocacy, where we research social and political issues and write to decision-makers about them. I am reaching out about [issue/topic] because it affects [me / my peers / my community / people in my country] in a way that I believe deserves urgent attention.

Because of this, I respectfully ask that you consider taking the following actions:

[Specific action #2 – ex: meet with students/young people, publicly address the issue, collaborate with a local organization.]
These steps would help by [1–2 sentences: show exactly how your proposed change would improve things in real life].
As students in Next Era Advocacy, we are trying to move beyond just talking about problems and instead understand policy and ask for concrete solutions. I would be very grateful for any response or update on what you are able to do about this issue, and I would be happy to share more about my experience or perspective if that is helpful.
Thank you for your time and for your service.
Sincerely,
